Plantex is used by professional landscapers to control weeds, reduce the amount of mulch required and to stabilise sites.  Plantex has a porous structure that lets air, water, and nutrients.

Applications:

For decking: Helps to prevent wood rot by separating the soil from the timber and allowing water to drain through.

For block paving: Plantex is placed between the compacted hardcore and the dry mix to minimise weed growth and stabilise the sub-base.

For gravel: Plantex will stop perennial weeds from growing underneath a gravel mulch cover, it also lets water through, preventing 'puddling'

For Turf: Plantex can be used under turf to prevent weeds from growing up through the subsoil and to prevent weeds such as dandelion and thistle from establishing tap roots.
