Shipping & Delivery Policy: The Hardscape Supplies Co Ltd
This policy outlines the terms and conditions for the delivery of goods purchased from The Hardscape Supplies Co Ltd. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms.
1. Delivery Timescales & "Day 0" Protocol
The Hardscape Supplies Co Ltd operates a standard 48-hour delivery service. Our logistics are calculated based on a "Day 0" start point:

Defining Day 0: Day 0 is the working day on which we receive your order.

Working Hours: Our normal working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Out of Hours: If an order is placed after 5:00 PM, on a weekend, or during a public holiday, Day 0 is the following working day.

Order placed Monday at 3:00 PM: Day 0 is Monday. Delivery expected by Wednesday.

Order placed Monday at 6:00 PM: Day 0 is Tuesday. Delivery expected by Thursday.

Seasonal Peak Times: Please be aware that Christmas, New Year, and UK Bank Holidays are not counted as working days. Delivery schedules will be adjusted accordingly during these periods.
2. Best Endeavours & Limitation of Liability
The Hardscape Supplies Co Ltd will use its best endeavours to ensure your goods arrive within the estimated 48-hour window. However, all delivery dates are estimates.
We accept no liability for any financial loss, missed contractor fees, or consequential damages resulting from delays in shipping. Occasionally, we may need to extend the delivery period if an item is out of stock or due to logistical disruptions; in these instances, we will contact you to provide an update.
3. Courier & Kerbside Delivery Terms
All deliveries are managed via third-party couriers.

Kerbside Delivery: Delivery is made to the kerbside only. This means the driver will unload the goods at the nearest point of access for their vehicle to the public highway.

Customer Responsibility: It is the customer's responsibility to move the goods from the kerbside into their property. Couriers are not permitted to enter private residences or move goods into gardens or rear sites.
4. Mandatory Inspection & Damage Reporting
It is a vital requirement that all products are inspected for damage or shortages immediately upon arrival.

24-Hour Rule: You must inform The Hardscape Supplies Co Ltd of any damage, defects, or missing items within 24 hours of delivery. Claims made after this window cannot be processed as they fall outside our courier’s liability period.

Pre-Use Inspection: All products must be inspected before use or installation. The Hardscape Supplies Co Ltd accepts no liability for goods that are installed or used despite having visible defects. Installation is considered an unconditional acceptance of the product’s condition.
5. Stock Availability
While we strive to keep our inventory updated, all orders are subject to stock availability. If a product is out of stock, we reserve the right to extend the delivery period or offer a full refund for the unavailable items.
